I've liked the look of Cobra drivers for some time now but was building component clubs for myself and my customers. After 28+ years building clubs, I quit doing that last year. I purchased some Adams hybrid irons and a Adams Blue driver. I like both purchases but kept switching to a couple of older component drivers from time to time. Drivers seem to get "stubborn" and don't like to do what you want so you need to change up to show them who's boss. So, about a month or so ago, I bought a Cobra Fly Z adjustable driver which I set to 12 degrees, as well as a Cobra Fly Z fairway wood that I set to 4 wood (16* for this club). I Got them from Hurricane Golf (the price was very good) and they arrived promptly but not as quickly as components do from their sister company DTG. It was only a day or two later which was no problem as I couldn't play golf in Minnesota then yet anyhow. I still haven't had the chance to try them but I have high hopes that they will work for me. The real question is whether the driver will work great at first and then get stubborn and quit working or will keep working for the whole season. Time will tell.
