letthebigdogshunt The fun in looking for a new driver is in the looking. The thrill of getting it and putting it in play. That first few times when you think you are getting the Holy Grail and then the let down when it turns out to be a short honeymoon. If you can't get to a Golf store near you do a search on the internet for the various heads you are interested in. You Tube is a good place to see actual people hitting it and commenting on the driver. But if you go to forums and look for revues you may get a better idea from real players, usually like most of us, and how they like or dislike the driver. Callaway, Cobra, TM are certainly good solid drivers on the market and each company has 2 or 3 that can work for your strengths and or weaknesses. Good luck and enjoy the process.
Been there, done that. I was a member of FGI for 14 years and browsed the clubmaking forum daily. It is really fun when you find the perfect poon stick. Somehow, over time the poon leaks out and the search begins again. I immediately picked up 30 yards a few years ago with the long and light concept with the DTG 175 and hit it well for several years. I still have three of these and might do some experimenting with new shafts in them.
