johnnydoom I can't tell if he's a bad coach or a good coach. Have watched a few of their games and he is never excited, one way or the other. Just flatlined in demeanor.
I think Angel has also given up though. She suddenly developed the back problem after the game where she almost had a triple double....points, rebounds......& TOs😲. It was also the game where she hit 7 techs; next one means suspension. She never even traveled to Indy, but I will give her some grace for the fact they go by bus, and if the back is a problem......

Not sure what happened with Cardoso last night. She's had 3 double-doubles in a row. Maybe they did not want her closing in on AR. She only needed 4 more points. Had 12 RBs in only 20 minutes!

The Sky is now looking at a top 4 pick again next year, and with the 'lottery' of that, could end up with the #1 pick again.

edit: that #1 pick would go to the Lynx due to the trade for picking Van Lith!! 🤣Another great shot by the Sky.

Clark's status has been upgraded from 'out' to 'GTD'. 👍
Only 12 games left so I imagine she said F it.... I'm playing til I can't.

(When they were saying she got another opinion, they forgot where she came from....where some of the best doctors in the U.S. are located....and she was back there when they stated that....in Iowa, handing out backpacks. I imagine it was somewhat of a ruse in order to get home to doctors she trusts.) jmo

Not much consolation, but at least Caitlin is usually there and spends time autographing for the fans.

johnnydoom It is funny....and telling....when they are on the road and she has so many wanting her to sign things, and so many 'local' fans wearing her clothing.

With the players having agents, and with the internet, why are we only seeing videos/pics of Caitlin doing these things all over the country? One would think players, esp. Angel, would get on their agents to demand vids be made, pics taken and posted of them doing similar.
But then again....I don't think others are doing what she is doing. Unless they get paid for it. And I don't think they are being sought out by fans either.

johnnydoom Apparently there is no trust in Mitchell running the show. Sims has taken Sophie's minutes. Makes no sense. Mitchell has over twice as many assists as Sims, at this point.
Fever looks a bit disjointed. Again.

Sims been watching Angel too much.😉

This is not a game that will be easy the rest of the way. Citron usually catches fire in the 2nd half. And she already started in the 1st!

Par4QC Mitchell’s assists look like quick hits. When she gets the ball she immediately looks to pass unless she thinks she’ll have her own open shot. But if she doesn’t immediately find someone open or shoot the ball she tends to put her head down and dribble in circles.

The two most consistent things I’ve seen from the Fever this year are Stephanie White whining that her team can’t stop the other team from going on big runs, and her lack of success in teaching them how to do so. Hopefully Washington doesn’t have another run in them for the 4th.

She is a very poor teacher as she has not yet learned herself.

21 assists, only 9 TOs. And they lost easily. There is a story in there somewhere.😉

Bibby got butt sores tonight while the 'star' point guard only had 3 assists due to constantly throwing bricks at the backboard(as was Mitchell also). She was only 3rd in assists🤔. Maybe I read it differently when they brought her in, but thought she was to 'run' the floor and is (supposedly)good at it.

They will get beat Sunday also, by the Sun. Bank it now.

How does anyone get 26 foul shots, grab 32 rebounds.....yet only commits 2 fouls???......I repeat....she got 32 rebounds.

Par4QC Some players are allowed much more leeway than others. Don't know the reason why or who drives it, but there is a reason, a coordinator, and much collaboration. Whatever it is, it has nothing to do with fans or the rules of the game. That much is pretty clear.

johnnydoom Reading into those stats, it would almost appear that players start backing off and let her have the RBs, knowing full well there is a very high % of fact they will get whistled. Esp. late, in very close games as they both were. Both wins, btw.

I did leave out the fact they played 1 game away, and 1 at home.

Don't tell me there is no collusion in the ref system. (CC has been enough proof in/of herself...the whole Fever team really)

A'ja being helped for another MVP run. And the Aces for another playoff run. And both were out of it in the 1st half of season.

Hartley is nothing short of a thug anyway, and the way she looks directly at Sophie's legs when she's falling says...deliberate!! And that is not jmo.

Also been watching/listening to White's interviews. I don't think I'm the only one that says she does not want CC back on court this season. And it is not just from what she says, but how she says things. Esp. when talking about Mitchell.
They have the rest of the week off, til Friday night. If CC is not playing, I will know it's not my imagination.

They won today, but they should have won it in regulation. It was not because of Kelsey 'putting the team on her back' as White just said.
It was because the Sun is the worst WNBA team!! And they showed it in the 4th Q.

A'ja had another 30+ points, 14 FTs, 8 RBs, 1 foul day today😆. Against Paige this time.

Lambert was let go yesterday, after just 3 days-1 minute played, and today they signed another...Shey Peddy, whoever she may be.
Lambert made the huge mistake of saying she was tickled to be on the team 'with Caitlin'.....she should have said Kelsey. Then she would still be there.😉

Hope to see them lose every game going out, and miss playoffs.
White does need to go. CC is not going to play the rest of this season, jmo. And not due to injury.
We'll find out Friday, after 4 days off and plenty of 'practice' time for CC......which I am not seeing any talk of btw.

Par4QC Apparently no CC in practice yet. I agree with you that she may have already made the decision to write off the season. Wasn't really leaning that way, but I am now. Ruling out some sort of playoff miracle, if the owner doesn't clear out the whole team management this offseason I'll continue in my belief that he doesn't even care how the team performs either on court or in financial results.
