Lexi almost did not play last night due to her back. But she played a hella game while ending up on her back.....yet again. This time whistles blew.
They kept A'ja in check again, until the 4th Q, but forgot there were 4 others on her team. Then they forgot about her in that 4th. And the Aces kept Kelsey in check.
Just seems like a broken team at this point, again. Too many different play changes and it affects shot making. They had it going, had the lead, and then....unraveled.
Hammon is very obviously the smarter coach.

It was disclosed the other day by the Fever's man-on-the -floor that CC was ready to from the groin injury. Then came the ankle thing, bone bruise. And they did not know what to do with it/how bad it might be, even after 2-3 weeks. So they shut her down. And jmo, it was not CC's idea, it was White's as the reason she went to the top for a conference about it. Just did not want 'disruption' of the team. Can't really say I differ in thought.
The question is what about next year? White is 'in bed/in love' with Kelsey, from her statements, yet seems not to like CC.
Fever has some really good players on the team right now. But they do need better 'direction' imo.
Brondello is unemployed and loves the run/gun style of play. White does not. Even with players that perform better doing it.🤔
Going to be an interesting off season in Indy. Esp. with 2 new teams getting to pick players. But, iirc, there are only about 4-5 on the Fever that are signed longer than this season.
