Just placed my order including a 50* wedge. Merry Christmas to me! Hoping Kelly can bend them a little upright for me? PM sent

    LogicalOne That's better.
I'm trying to hold the club and take the pic & that never works for someone that can't chew gum and walk straight at the same time. Or stand up without a handrail. 🀣

Par4QC Or stand up without a handrail. 🀣

You and I would make quite the comical pair! It’d be a race to see who can stand up the quickest WITHOUT the aid of anything or anyone. It’d be like watching paint dry. πŸ˜‚

Ever going to offer individual iron heads - I only use the 7-8-9-pw, etc. Already have the 52* wedge...

          Driver review:

First round today- played a crappy local course, muddy, wet fairways so no comments on roll

The build: Shafted with an old school aldila NV pink, stiff flex tipped a couple of inches. Driver head with adapter was 210g(heaviest configuration) playing at about 44"

Distance- no launch monitor numbers just on course experience. Didn't bring my other drivers to compare but overall, distance was good and likely very similar to my other drivers(mavrik sz, tsi4 and TM M5). I hit a couple of bombs too so I have no doubts this would keep up with the OEM stuff

Forgiveness- seemingly good. Hard to really know but forgiving enough and definitely more forgiving than my TSi4.

Spin- surprisingly fairly low spin. I tee'd it pretty low and was able to control trajectory fairly well. No roll on fairways so hard to know for sure but to the naked eye, I got my desired ball flight on good swings. If I had to guess I'd say higher spin than the tsi4 and in between the mavrik sz and m5, so no complaints basically.

Sound/feel- if you like the sound of an aluminum bat then this is your driver. Similar to the epic flash and maybe the old Nike sumo sq drivers. I prefer a muted thud so this is my only negative. I'm going to replace the 8g back weight with a 1g and stuff a bunch of cotton balls to see if that helps.

Overall, I am impressed. Aside from the sound and subsequent feel, I have zero complaints about performance. I was able to control trajectory and work the ball a bit and distance seemed to be on par with other drivers I have. Well done Kelly!

Great deal too as I got the black Friday discount so in my opinion a no brainer purchase- support our fellow buzzer boys!

shokosugi have someone else hit it whole you're to one side. I have a feeling that aluminum bat sound will not be present. I need to see about stuffing 20 grams of yarn inside the logicalone driver head I have to see if that will attenuate that sound down to a preferred, pleasant audio experience.

I wish. I'm going to have a 4 5 and 6 iron head sitting around. Actually, at 40% off I'm probably still ahead of paying full price for 4 heads

I had the 1st gen head from Kelly. No problem with sound/feel at all. And that sumbich was as long as all OEMs I've ever hit. In fact, playing from the back tee on the last hole I used it, I hit farther than from the front tees I normally play!!
I only kept it for 9 holes, and every hit was centered on a quarter spot!! I did a review, with pics iirc.
Have since passed it along to another member.

Par4QC I built them up, just because I had them. Might even be foolish enough to try to hit them a couple times. πŸ€”

Par4QC I remember that review! I like my neuro head, it just sounds like an aluminum bat when I hit the ball with it. Off to the side, that sound isn't there at all. Everyone I have had try it, says it feels amazing, that's how I know the bat sound is gone when I'm not swinging it. I think I might stuff some yarn in it and see if I can mellow that sound out a little bit.

sdandrea1 With Maltby heads @$50 per, you are correct. At that, by comparison pricing you'll only spend a few bucks more for the 3 heads. Pissing away just a few bucks is not out of our wheelhouse. And it fits so comfortably when we do it. πŸ˜„
