propman Academics might come in 2nd place as far as priorities.

Many are interested in both.

propman Very few choose to go back to the school they were portal ling away from. In college basketball this past portal time there were around 1900 or 2000 players who entered the portal; I know of one player for sure who withdrew his name. There were probably more, but I would be surprised if it was more than a handful.

    Big JUCO news.

The recent legal decision granting Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia a preliminary injunction against the NCAA is more than just a headline—it’s a development that could redefine the college athlete landscape. The ruling, which exempts years spent at junior colleges (JUCOs) from counting toward NCAA eligibility, opens the door to transformative changes in how athletes, schools, and coaches navigate collegiate sports. Let’s unpack the implications and see what this could mean for the future.

College football is quickly becoming the USFL. That's okay. They too sell their product for all the TV rights and advertisements.

I spoke to an NIL agent today. Majority of more highly skilled players are shopping themselves around not necessarily to get in a better position to showcase their skills for the NFL as most will never even be drafted (257 last year with compensatory picks). So few make the NFL that the way they are going to make money is thru what schools and thru their booster clubs will pay transfer portal players thru NIL. Grapevine says slightly better than average QB's in B1G, SEC, ACC, Big12 getting $1m to move. Most know where they are going before they enter the portal. Lots of backroom deals being made. Most of them will never see an NFL field. Make it while you can. ☺

DVR the Gators game for later when everyone is asleep!

After seeing how easy the first touchdown was, I think I may lose interest quickly.

I sense SMU will have real tough 'sledding' at Penn State. It's really cold! Don't know how a team from Texas is going to manage that?!

professor SMU is not very good, anyway. They would lose to Penn State regardless of the temperature. They were one blocked field goal away from losing to Duke; they turned the ball over five times in that game, might've been six!

Epic fail #2 for the SMU QB. How will he respond. Penn St. O has not been able to do squat yet they are up 7-0. Does not bode well for SMU.

Penn St. scores a TD here it's curtains IMO.

Curious call there by the Nittany Lions 🤔

Lol yeah. SMU QB epic fail #3. High School ball right there. TRBL

I told y'all in an earlier post in this thread rhat SMU wasn't good, and that they turn the ball over too much.
Their slot in the playoff should have been given to a better team.

rsvman2 lOther than the TOs SMU has been the better team. If the QB does not implode this game is likely 3-0 SMU.... This will get interesting if SMU is able to score as Penn St. O stanks!

Well that was a strange thing for a team up by 14 to do.
