ND's schedule is iffy. Signature win away at Kyle Field 1st game of the season beating Texas A&M. Signature loss at home vs. No. Ill....sheesh. USC win away but USC at 6-6 isn't like the USC of old. The rest of ND's wins were patsies and majority at home. Louisville at home the best team on their schedule but not a juggernaut. Service academies, FSU and the like. I ain't impressed looks like Indiana's soft schedule. I hope the committee looks at SOS when seeding.

scotts33 they can only do so much with the conf. champions getting an auto bye, but yes agree, they need to factor that in. I friggin hate ND and at least they cannot get an auto bye as the system is currently set, at least that's how I understand it🤔

Very surprised Alabama is at 11 with 3 losses. I know they beat Georgia, South Carolina (shouldn't have), and Missouri, and didn't play Ole Miss, but I thought they'd squeeze Miami ahead of them given Bama's ugly game at Oklahoma.

Wow, lame! The only wiggle room with who gets in, is what happens to SMU if they lose to Clemson. B12 winner bumps Miami, so they have no chance. Maybe there is a scenario if SMU loses Miami climbs up but it would be hard to justify them jumping Bama when they are both idle. Boise is bumped if they lose so essentially one spot for their conf winner if UNLV pulls the upset. I don't see Georgia falling out if they lose to Texas. Bama is likely putting on their SMU caps and hoping they win so it does not come down to SMU bumping them if they lose. Me thinks that the committee does, shall, and always will 😍❤️❤️ them some Bama and they are in no matter what. Surprised SC did not climb the ladder with a win over a ranked opponent. Tells me the committee has no respect for the ACC

ode SMU going to Power 5 ACC this year thru the portal and paying big NIL $$$ to offensive and defensive line, complete revamp around 10 players in one year made one of the biggest jumps in national scene. NIL came into play thru TX Gov. Abbott signing legislation where TX university's can make a deceptive move around the NCAA NIL rules money payouts (big oil money and booster groups Eric Dickerson being one of the groups).

I am rooting for UNLV just to see Brennan Marion's Go-Go offense!

As I've mentioned Marion's Go-Go offense and for those that haven't seen it but may have seen some of the nuances in the pro game. Use of more running backs/wing/X players in the offense not limited to run orientation but puts a lot of pressure on the defense. Here is some of it...

There's a lot of guys on my Wildcat site that want him for our open OC spot.

As do many many good schools. Everybody line up at Brennan Marion's door. 😁

I like his concepts but if you don't have the right personnel it probably won't work as well. Also may not work as well in some Power 5 conferences. Hal Mumee/Mike Leach's Air Raid should work also but again same personnel issues.

Interesting though that he interviewed for FSU and Oklahoma and they went with someone else.

Ben Arbuckle from Wash. St to Okla. makes sense Wash. St. ranked top 15 offenses in nation last few years. Arbuckle worked with Cam Ward and others.

Malzahn also lots of experience. Top 20 nationally over the years invented the Hurry Up no huddle. But you gotta wonder.... he did relinquish play-calling duties earlier this season at UCF as the Knights struggled to 4-8 record and he resigned. Money talks at FSU.

scotts33 Malzahn also lots of experience

When his Auburn team beat number 1 Alabama and number 1 Georgia in 2017, the same year both of those teams played for the national championship, he won my admiration as a coach. His team gave everything they had in those two games and fell out due to injuries, but what a glorious accomplishment that team had.

Like a lot of fans, can't wait for the 12 team playoff to start. Talking heads think the Tide will be in lovely South Bend. Hope it's true
