Mixed reaction to yesterday. Memphis played fairly well and got the win against dysfunctional FSU. My adopted school (current and future school of my kids) and my state's university, Mississippi State was thoroughly trashed by a Toledo team that has been very good in recent years but shouldn't be able to come into SEC territory and win. I fear that Mississippi State has traded places with Vanderbilt.

    fatshot Pitt recruited and signed the QB from the local high school where I taught. He's a senior this year....threw for 325 yards and ran for 185 last night.

        Oh, I can definitely see him entering the Portal! He's been a starter since his sophomore year, and probably won't like sitting, so he'll be looking around for a better deal.....not sure why he signed at Pitt in the first place if they have an established starter who has lots of eligibility left.

              johnnydoom I would have said after he loses to Mississippi State next week, but it's pretty clear to me now that MS State may be one of the few easy games Florida will have this year.

                TN and OK are beating the heck out of each other in a very physical game. I’m thinking now that no SEC team will be even close to healthy come playoff time. The pressure to get through the gauntlet along with shallower depth created by NIL is going to deplete all of them.

                    Yipsy I wouldn't overturn. Not sure what they saw in the review, but it looked to me like the receiver had both hands on the ball, held it securely, and was down initially inside the end line.

                      Yipsy the last view from the side and zoomed in shows the ball moving around, although it's not clear if it hit the ground, the players are out of bounds at that point. Incomplete!
