As for guys in their 30’s, Mickelson didn’t win his first Major until he was 34. I don’t see Rory going anywhere. Look at Justin Rose at 43.
As Rory said today the Ryder Cup is “pure competition.” Playing for themselves, each other and their country, for no purse money. It’s a huge deal for these guys. For many winning a Ryder Cup is the pinnacle of their career.
