Anybody know what the row by the courtesy car was with Rory? I mean I get it had to do with the caddie incident, but who was he actually yelling at and pretending he was actually going to go after? You see Bones in the video but Rory is talking past him. So what's up?

Bones just happened to be the lone American in that area,Rory was just blowing off steam not really
directed at Bones.....Joe LaCava was not even near by....kind of funny to see Lowery force him into the car.

OK, it looked like Rory was talking to someone beyond Bones though who was out of the picture.

darpar Not really. The U.S. team at that time will look nothing like this week's team. May not be even 1 of them on it. Same goes for the European team.
Our 30 & under guys are already past their peaks. They'll not get better as they get older.

I think we’ll see a few. I’d bet money Scotty Scheffler will be on the 2025 team. Still a young guy. Viktor Hovland looks like he’s another young guy who’s here to stay. As is Jon Rahm.

As for guys in their 30’s, Mickelson didn’t win his first Major until he was 34. I don’t see Rory going anywhere. Look at Justin Rose at 43.

As Rory said today the Ryder Cup is “pure competition.” Playing for themselves, each other and their country, for no purse money. It’s a huge deal for these guys. For many winning a Ryder Cup is the pinnacle of their career.

Yeah, I guess you both are probably more right than I am. I forgot there are 6 captain picks, so most of these guys will probably be on there. Whether they got the game or not. That was made apparent this year.

I think they should replace one of the foursomes sessions with a two-man scramble. 😄

MidwayJ I already posted this earlier in the thread. Totally agree. It would be much more interesting. And since it would be on camera, no cheating.

They could alter the rules so that you can't place if you are in the rough; force them to drop within one club length no closer to the hole. And then still score it as match play. It would likely take eagle to win a hole, although occasionally a birdie might win.

Unless there is a major attitude adjustment of the US Ryder Cup team members over the next 2 years they will get beat like a rented mule, again, just like this weekend. These prima donnas are just happy to make the Ryder Cup Team and they think they are entitled to win. Winning takes guts, attitude and pride...Not frat boy yahoos downing beers...These guys are just not hungry and have a shitty attitude. Were I a Captain of the Ryder Cup Team any person who even thought that they should get paid would be persona non grata on the team. If they "earned" a spot I would find a loophole that would allow replacement.

Money, money is what it’s all about for the US players and organization…If you qualify for or are chosen for the team, wouldn’t that indicate that you have had a really good 2 years and that your bank account is doing pretty well??? I’m sure all expenses incurred being on the team are covered, including the expenses for your girl friend/wife…What more do they want???
