Poulter is another, as Spuzz pointed out, and all of these guys would have been potential captains. While it's not impossible to see at least some of them being welcomed back onto the European Tour, that will depend on how things play out between LIV and the PGA Tour.
If the LIV players aren't available, there is a bit of a gap for future captains, as there aren't many Ryder Cup stalwarts in their 40s outside of the players who decided to play on LIV - this was a young European team (McIlroy was the third oldest player, behind only Rose and Lowry...). Rose seems very likely to be captain in the near future, and it wouldn't be a surprise to anyone if Donald is asked to return - it's also possible that Colsaerts or the Molinari brothers may be considered (all vice-captains on the 2023 team).
