Spartan We don't have any food delivered.

Same have never personally used Uber Eats, Door Dash or the likes although have been with people who have. I don't often get take out and if I do it's always pick up. I dislike tipping for take-out but seems to be the norm so will leave $1-$5 depending on the amount of the bill.

Always tip 25% of pretax bill when eating at a restaurant .

Glad to see so many positive responses to the contrary!

Of course, I have to assume those who didn't respond........ well...........

I've never ordered food for delivery in 40+ years of adulthood. On the rare occasions we dine at a sit-down restaurant, I usually tip about 25%. For where and what we eat, the difference is less than $5 vs 20%. And we don't eat out often. In my younger barfly days, I usually tipped a buck a drink plus half of the freebies. That was back when mixed drinks were $3-$4, back in my early working days. But amazingly, after 28 years of working at places I couldn't stand, I found a job where I actually went in after half a day of jury duty. Hardly ever drank after that.

At some point your fat ass will most likely be incapacitated with reduced physical capacity and homebound.
Delivery might be the only option other than eating cereal and baloney sandwiches every day.

      Just sayin'

You go right ahead and you pray for Jesus to miracle some food onto your dining table when you are wheelchair bound and your driver's license has been revoked.

        I'll use doordash instead.

note: I hope neither you nor I suffer that fate. I'm speaking hypothetically.

So you're admitting to purposefully outright trolling, for the sake of trolling.

And somehow you think I'm the problem here?

professor You have been on FGI and then Golfbuzz for a long time. It always self corrects. People get tired of interacting and then once there is no longer a reaction the trouble goes away.

The server who keys your takeout order into the POS has their pay pre-taxed under an assumed tip rate just like any other sale. If you aren't tipping them, you're pretty much stealing from them.

It's stupid... but that's the system. At least in the good old pro-middle-class USA.

We don't have uber eats or anything like that out here in very rural USA. The closest thing we have is a pizza place
that will deliver. They add a fee to your bill and you pay when the pizza is delivered. If you want to tip the delivery
person more than the fee, and we always do, you can do so. As for your "Holier than thou and superior attitude" you
can just stick it up your a--. No on has an obligation to go back and forth with you here and every day you loose
someone else. Today it was me. I'll have no further to do with you.
