Typhoon absolutely a flock thing. The course I played in high school, there was a ton of KZG, it was around 99 when they had the maraging face woods, then the PFT 300 came out and that thing was an absolute game changer. Iāll never forget the first time I hit the Candy Apple Red head on an AJTech shaft that matched it. Hole 10 at a course I played daily, I had never been closer than 40 yards from the green, I sent the ball over the back of the green. The club maker at the course couldnāt order them fast enough, everyone and their brother had to have one.
The course I played a bunch in college and after, one guy got the MacGregor V-Foil irons, next thing you know, half the menās league has them.
I worked at a country club through college, I introduced the head pro to the Cleveland Launcher driver, on my ātestā to be sure I was worthy to play their course (any employee that wanted to play had to be approved by the pro š). After one swing, I was approved and he wanted to hit the driver, next thing you know thereās a Cleveland truck at the driving range and everyone and their brother was hitting Cleveland everything.
