Kirkland Irons
Subsonic if I had to guess, he’d be a solid 6-8 shots better, maybe more. Where the irons he has dig, he would get shots that would’ve been very playable with SGIs. He wasn’t “that far” away from good shots. He doesn’t have a 30 handicap swing, should be a high teens type. He’s admittedly still learning to play the game (aren’t we all?), so his short game is a liability, but he could save considerable amounts of shots it he would play the shovels and hybrids his game needs. Had he spent his money on some Ping G series instead of Titleist T series, he’d be much further ahead.

Kirkland driver has a carbon crown. If it retails for $200 dollars, it's going to be a hit.
pellmell in a non-insane world $200 sounds like the right place for them to claim a “premium” design at a reasonable price to get some market share. In a time when the OEMs aren’t scared to slap $700 on an off the shelf driver, I won’t be surprised if they try for $299.
Once they get out in the market for a couple months they will have zero resale value and the early adopters will be the losers. They will be sold out by then so it won’t matter to Costco.
From the one picture they look alright to me. Hard to tell size though. Are they similar to the Taylormade or are they bulky like ping g700? I’d be interested if they are soft feeling and provided good launch and spin.
sdandrea1 Wedges may be the 1 club that gets way too much hype. Mainly because most do not know how to hit them. Me included. Everyone wants to get wrapped up in a 'grind' that have not a clue as to what it means or does for them. And the majority of those people are still trying to 'break 90'!! But, they 'got to have' the perfect grind and.... migawd.....the latest $200 wedge shaft for it!
sdandrea1 I got a couple Callaway CB Mack Daddy wedges recently. New model was coming out and these were only $75-$89 everywhere. Will never leave my bag/set up. Best ever. No nonsense sole design & as easy to hit as any other iron, with no fear of skulls.
Yes, much better than the Clevelands, btw.
