Bravopilot Probably what a set of components like Takomo would run. I still can’t get past the name emblazoned on the back. Would you buy a set of clubs that said “Walmart or BJ’s Wholesale”. in big letters across the back?

I wouldn't mind the Kirkland branding. I'm not a great player (maybe even go as far as to call me a shooter?) so take that what it's worth, but having played all components up until recently, it has never mattered to me what branding is on the club. I don't value any particular brand over another personally, and I don't play with anyone that I'm worried about making a good impression on. If I were in sales I would, but I'm an introverted engineering type
.
A lot of hot air about something no one here is going to buy.
Doubt Costco gives a flying f*ck nobody on this forum buys their golf products
I don't know! There's 53 posts and counting in the 2023 roll call thread - it all adds up
Most everything I mentioned is mentioned here as well.
Bravopilot Oh Damn.... That could be tempting... $600 or more and I would be out. That price is only $100 over budget.
Wait a minute... I could set up a GOFUNDME deal. If every Buzzard sent me a dollar, I would only need to come up with an additional $579.99
A lot of chatter over a set of clubs most people on here “poo-poo”….and would never play. Players distance irons with, as you guys say, “jacked lofts” and thin soles.
For the price of a new set of them, you can get a set of 2019 p790’s with most likely a better shaft, tighter tolerances, proven performance and some kind of customer support.
