    propman The drivers, and most likely the irons, will be a dime-a-dozen 30 days after they hit the shelves. In the BST sites everywhere. People will buy them out, esp. the drivers, only to find they are no better than anything already on the market. Smart buyers will keep them and sell off their more expensive clubs.....that are no better than anything else on the market. šŸ˜‰

    After all, why show up at a tourney with Kirkland, when you can show up with Titleist and get same results?šŸ¤£

        Would be great to witness a purely blind test of shafts and heads with say high single digit up to 20 cappers. I suspect, the oems would not like the results. Jmo.

          propman Iā€™d like to see less bags with ā€œplayers distance ironsā€ in them and more with SGIs in them. Iā€™m over playing with/behind people with $2k in their hollow body ā€œbladesā€ that shoot 103. It would be great if people would actually play what suits their game, not their ego.

                  sdandrea1 I get that, just did a golf trip w a bunch of guys who all had games that didnā€™t come close to their equipment levels. I think of the 20 guys there were maybe 3 that were close to what they should be playing. Example, younger guy in my group one day had players distance irons, canā€™t recall which Titleist version they were and he carried a 30+ cap. He got 2 strokes on damn near every hole, never played with somebody who stood a chance a net zero on a par 3 beforeā€¦ until him. It got me thinking about it all, and how out of touch most are with reality.

                  Side note, Iā€™m over here thinking the X-Hot Pros I play might be too much for my game with my lack of practice.. these MFers are out there with near blades šŸ˜‚

                          DC300 So how much difference do you think it would make if this person played SGI irons?

                              Subsonic if I had to guess, heā€™d be a solid 6-8 shots better, maybe more. Where the irons he has dig, he would get shots that wouldā€™ve been very playable with SGIs. He wasnā€™t ā€œthat farā€ away from good shots. He doesnā€™t have a 30 handicap swing, should be a high teens type. Heā€™s admittedly still learning to play the game (arenā€™t we all?), so his short game is a liability, but he could save considerable amounts of shots it he would play the shovels and hybrids his game needs. Had he spent his money on some Ping G series instead of Titleist T series, heā€™d be much further ahead.
