$30/head for 17-4 cast is a bit steep IMO. Weight adjustment I would do on build out so interchangeable screws meh. I don't see the interest but that's just me.
KE4 max in stock
scotts33 I would agree, but it's pretty hard to find reasonably priced golf stuff these days. I don't think they needed to add the screw either, but it is kind of a cool look and you couldn't say that about older Maltby designs. I sort of miss the days of inexpensive (but good quality) Maltby heads, but the last few years their stuff has gotten a LOT better IMO.
KCee I don't think they needed to add the screw either,
Possibly a COG issue, but a screw makes it easy to change weights without lead tape or a disassembly.
Non issue IMO. Virtually hidden. I was honestly surprised how nice these felt on a good hit - flight too.
Now.....we await PappaD's review.
Subsonic What are some more affordable options?
For hobbyists, I don't think you can beat Hireko/Value.
For me Swing Science, I use both FC-One 431 SS options for my clients and it makes decent heads affordable as an actual fit end buyer. I pass the savings on to my clients. In the $15/head range. Both Jeff Sheets designs and good for what they are designed for.

Played 18 holes in a family scramble today. Hit the KE4 Max 9, W, or G at least once on every hole.
Caveats:
- My swing is in a good place right now
- This is my first KE4 build of any model.
- This is my first build with these Integra shafts (Professional 50g)
This is AN EXCELLENT GI club head!! Feel is almost forged -like. Not clicky......solid.
Flight is surprisingly high for the strong lofts. My shots landed and almost stopped. At address they are very "Callaway" looking (think Rogue, XR,). I held the 9i right next to my buddy's Rogue and the Callaway has a touch more offset. Distance - wise they're a full club longer than my GigaGolf but that's loft I guess. What I liked MOST was the sole design. This sole is TURF FRIENDLY!!!! I'm ordering the 7i & 8i. PapaD tested, PapaD approved. They're worth $30/head to me.
Oh, and as stated above, the screws were all loose. You'll hear a rattle. I plan to remove them, put a touch of silicone sealant on them and screw them back in tight.
Told you. You nailed the review.
Yep, a tiny drop of blue loctite will keep the screws in place. They will be a GW fav.
Jelopster And now I remember that I've got that KBS Tour 105 I pulled from my Sub 70 699 3U in favor of the stellar Xcalibur RT 95...So that would be an easy one to slot in.
Some help from those who know...The KBS Tour 105 was tipped for a 3U, so I would guess that if I cut another inch off the tip, it would be tipped correctly for a 5 iron, and presumably also the right playing length, give or take the BBTG variance between the heads, correct?
