No they should not.
There is a niche there, in the over 40 age category, that they could explore, if they wanted to, or lower the Champions age requirement and keep some of the loyal members around?
The way the game is going now, there will be a lot of PGA members that will be in that 10 year golf hell
(Mike Weir for example) that are too old or too short off the tee for the Regular Tour and too young for the Champions Tour. Champions Tour could use some rejuvenation for sure.
If you look at the ones who have signed up already, you'll see guys that are smart enough to realize they are already in that hell, or about to enter into it. If golf is all they know, why would they want to waste ten years of their life?
