The players are just as bad - if you go play in that other sandbox we aren't friends anymore...My reaction to them would be if my decisions for me and my family mean you are no longer my friend, we weren't really friends in the first place - so go perform an impossible biological act upon yourself and lose my phone number...I think that in the near future Prince what's-his-name is going to start putting some pressure on some sponsors hinting that if Monohan isn't brought under control they might have a more difficult time doing business in Saudi Arabia...

    Saw Fred Couples whining about Cameron Smith bolting. What's with him and DLIII? It's almost like they're bitter that they were from the era that a bunch of international players came and snatched their majors out from under them. I can see why prominent players get attention, but do they somehow feel entitled to lecture more accomplished players like Phil, DJ, and Brooks? Or even players that have already proved to be their equal like Cameron, Patrick, and a slew of international major winners now on the LIV tour? I guess I can understand the old guys fighting for what they love, but it should be obvious to them that it isn't what it used to be. It's not just the players that have changed, the organization has changed and the world has changed.

Which is all fine and well. It's a free country. No laws have been broken, the owner is within his rights.

                      Now imagine that new business owner demanding that you change your pay and compensation plan so that his employees can participate in the year-end bonus payout that your company's owner has made part of his employees' annual compensation.

I think what, if anything, is being said that it is....THIS is how you should have been doing it all along, in order to keep players in place/happy. Who really wants to work for people that are knowingly giving it to your back door, and thinking they are the greatest people ever? You'll stay only as long as something better does not come along, because it's the only game allowed in town!! Choices. They have them now, if they are chosen to make the choice.                               If you are talking about World Ranking Points, I agree with you, as long as LIV is playing 54 hole events.
                              If they up it to 72 holes, they have a legit beef.

                              I liken the situation more to a type of Industrial Unionism.
                              Factory owner (PGA) treats employees like shit with shit pay, as they are the only game in town.
                              Union comes along (LIV) and disgruntled employees leave for more pay and better working conditions.
                              Factory owners do everything they can to dissuade defectors using bully tactics, intimidation and threats.
                              Eventually, factory owners who wish to remain viable, change tune and find more money for employees and upgrade conditions. Greedy factory owners sell or close up shop, failing to adapt to a changing world.

                                        I hope Pat Reed shows up in his Captain America gear, with LIV stickers all over it.

                                        Pelley asked them not to wear LIV logos as a favour, (which is against the LIV contracts they signed) after he banned them from any ProAms and Feature Groups etc.
                                        Not sure what world these Tour Executive twats are living in.
