Little Johnny comes home from school and looks a bit bummed out. His father sees this and says, "What's wrong Johnny?"

Little Johnny: "My teacher gave me some hard homework today. I don't understand it."
Father: "Let's take a look at it. We'll figure it out together."

So little Johnny shows his Dad the paper.

Father: "Oh. This is simple! Johnny, you mean to tell me that you don't understand the difference between 'Reality' and 'Potentially'"?

Little Johnny: "No, not really."

Father: "Well, here's what I want you to do. This will help you figure it out. Go upstairs and ask your mother if she would sleep with the mailman for $500,000. Then, go to your sister's room and ask her if she would sleep with the mailman for $500,000. Then come back to me and tell me what they said."

So little Johnny does what his father tells him to do. Five minutes later, little Johnny comes back downstairs to his father.

Father: "Well, what did your mom say?"
Little Johnny: "She said yes."
Father: "What did your sister say?"
Little Johnny: "She said yes, too."

Father: "Well, there you have it. Buddy, you and I are "potentially" sitting on a million dollars. But... the "reality" is that we're living with two whores."

Like I said, money always wins.

        I have to assume there's a contingency plan for more players? Seems it wouldn't be hard to increase the field. What if another 10 pretty big names jump ship, are those lower end guys just out of luck?

            I assume so, but I was referring to this week only, as it's a bit late to expand the field now.
            Big picture, I think they feel there will be more joining in. How many? No idea. Depends on whether the PGA and DP decide to cooperate/coexist or if the PGA continue to try and save it's monopoly, and their salaries, with a heavy hand.

                    I believe the field size is still 48.
                    3 spots were left open in anticipation of the recent defectors, and are now filled.
                    Wolffe, Ortiz and the #2 Am are the last in.
                    Also reading/rumours, that Fleetwood, Stenson and Berger are next, with Stenson having the most to lose at this point.
