I have a GREAT Oster Fast Feed clipper set that we've used for a few years to give the kids haircuts when mom doesn't take them to the salon with her.

During the pandemic, everyone but my wife, has received the dreaded home haircut. Well, my daughter hasn't just us guys.

This Oster is what I used to shave with when my face gets a little too scraggly. Recently, I dropped this trusted Oster onto our tile floor, causing part of the metal guard to break. I tried using it with the piece severed but it's like running a sharp knife over your skin. So, I needed to replace the guard. I looked at prices and wasn't high on spending 25 bucks on a little piece that I'd probably just break again. Ended up buying a new set of clippers.

Those clippers came today so I called down my autistic son to test these out. I made an unfixable gaffe in the back of his hair. I intended to just shorten the back of his head and just shorten the top. He can be very finicky about things and demanded ALL of his hair be removed. Against my better judgement and the biting criticism I know is coming when my wife steps out from work, I proceeded to remove all of his hair.

Oh, my goodness. The fun started when his siblings saw him. I've never seen my daughter react quite like that. A viral moment missed. She was panting in reaction. Just about fell over due to lack of oxygen. Hiding her face with both hands while she gasped for air between laughs and utter shock.

My poor son said: I look like an escaped prison inmate! I'm the peach man. I look like a bean. Said some other hilarious things I can't even remember. He just asked me if I remembered when Q shaved off all of his hair so Murr could have a wig? (that was on Impractical Jokers). The boy wants a wig.

I missed the first viral moment. Pondering recording my wife's reaction, but she would NEVER let me post it because it will not be a pleasant one.

Oh, and these clippers work GREAT. 5 stars. Haircut, not so much.
