  • Since some folks just can't stop the personal attacks, bickering, and otherwise toxic behavior things are going to get more heavy handed for awhile.

    Starting now:

    • Any threads that digress into bickering or personal attacks will be closed immediately
    • Members that engage in attacks, that are less that 1 year old will be banned until/unless they or someone else can email me a reason to un-ban them
    • Members that engage in attacks, that are more than 1 year old will get a 1-week cool-down ban. If you have history here, you get the benefit of the doubt and a second chance after cool down.

I hate having to monitor this stuff. But a few of you just can't help but take things into the toilet.

This place will be quality over quantity so if you can't keep things civil, you need to find somewhere else to spend your time.

  • I understand not buying into Biden, but how anyone can watch the lying, divisive con man for 4 years and praise him escapes me.

    • Par4QC He would have finished his term, had he not resigned! 45 yrs. later will show no different. That investigation had been ongoing for over 2 yrs. when he stepped down; needlessly. He would not have been impeached. Same 'collateral damages' as this investigation.....aides, etc. getting dragged down and thrown in prison. Wouldn't have happened to Nixon, won't happen to Trump. You know all the facts of this situation.....& you know he skates.

P.S.- Voted for Nixon!! (also voted for Clinton twice) I like crooks, although Nixon was not one.🤓

You're wrong that Nixon wouldn't have been impeached. He most certainly would have and he would've been convicted in the Senate also. And it was Republicans (like Barry Goldwater) who told Nixon he had to resign.

The votes were there in the House and Senate. Unlike this Republican party where they put their own political careers ahead of the countries by backing Trump.

I have to say that I'm surprised by your Nixon comments. We've heard the tapes. Had Ford not pardoned him he very well could've gone to jail. And just like Nixon, Trumps worst crime may be obstructing justice. The coverup is where these guys get taken down.

I watched the Watergate hearings in 1973. I was a political junkie back then even. There's so many similarities between Watergate and Trumps scandal with Russia. Russian hacking into the DNC is nothing more than a high tech Watergate burglary. John Dean was Nixon's lawyer and Trump has Cohen etc..

What brought Nixon down was the tapes. Trump is technology illiterate, doesn't do email or texting. That could help save him, who knows. I will say this, Nixon had his faults / issues, but he was certainly capable of doing the job as president. Trump is ignorant, incapable and is in way over his head.

I could go on and on, but it is what it is.
