Since some folks just can't stop the personal attacks, bickering, and otherwise toxic behavior things are going to get more heavy handed for awhile.

Starting now:

  • Any threads that digress into bickering or personal attacks will be closed immediately
  • Members that engage in attacks, that are less that 1 year old will be banned until/unless they or someone else can email me a reason to un-ban them
  • Members that engage in attacks, that are more than 1 year old will get a 1-week cool-down ban. If you have history here, you get the benefit of the doubt and a second chance after cool down.

I hate having to monitor this stuff. But a few of you just can't help but take things into the toilet.

This place will be quality over quantity so if you can't keep things civil, you need to find somewhere else to spend your time.

Tulon and SlevinKelevra have been banned. If anyone wants to make a case for their reinstatement, feel free to email me.

Sneakylong, meagain, and LBlack14 are on cool down for 7 days. If you don't understand why, go back and read your posts. Your accounts will automatically come back in 7 days.

    It's a shame it has come to this, but I hope it makes this great forum a place to enjoy interacting.

              Almost up to 300 posts in 7 days about his anti vaccine nonsense.

              Any tips or tricks to goad him in to getting banned?

                PingMan59 I never understood why someone would use the same 'handle', or even their real name, on every forum. I was on several, all with different names. Piss someone off on 1, they can't follow you.

                  That was me that joined TGN (PapaD), but Toulon was already there as Maple Mania doing his COVID anti-vax thing. The best way to deal with him is to ignore him. If you engage him, he'll defend whatever hill he's on to the end.

                          You're probably correct on those dates. He started his account there right after someone here mentioned that Weirfan was active there, so he probably followed Pete over.
                          He's been here a looong time, and just got banned. He revels in the debate and loves to keep them going. If he doesn't have an audience, he'll lose interest, but he can be hard to resist engaging. Trying to get him banned will just fuel his love for the back and forth.
