Bravopilot Needs to play a tournament before PGA

He's a WD for the PGA. so you need a Plan B until the US Open.
🙂

    Bravopilot
I don't think it's because he hasn't played an official tourney.
He could have played in the Champions Major this week if he wanted a tune up.
I think it's because he got the No Way Jose reject with his release request.
    Just a SpuzzMusing.

Spuzz So not a Spuzzervation, but a mussing, interesting, and noted. The release is odd to me, all it technically does is allow them to count against the min the PGA Tour requires for membership (15) plus the competition against PGA Tour event. The pros have to add more tournaments to get to the min, which they do not seem to like doing.
Then the whole thing about playing different tournaments. While they are essentially independent contractors held to a standard that is not independent.
No different than when he spoke out about the US Ryder Cup process.

Bravopilot Needs to play a tournament before PGA, he shall be back and I will win the Eguller contest, yet again.

I agree, he needs to come out and play and face the press. Get it over with and behind him. People will forget quickly. Look at Tiger, he's a hero again.

I think the reason Phil's not playing next week is the timing of the new book
by Shipnuck that comes out next Tues......sounds like it has a lot of dirt on FIGJAM!

Bravopilot While they are essentially independent contractors held to a standard that is not independent.

All the PGA Tour pros agree to and sign the Tour's TOS before they tee it up. - basically.

Eguller Yes, and the Tour loves to refer to them as Independent, but really they are not. PGA Tour knows it has the upper hand and will continue until the pros have leverage, which was all Mickelson talked about. Another reason the union concept, which I hate, never amounted to much.

Eguller Yeah, that is what the PGA Tour is famous for, the Players. However, the Player's money is key and unsurpassed--to date--anywhere.
