I think I got the gist of what you were saying. George Michael, although talented in his particular era of bubble-gum pop in the 80's and 90's, wasn't impressive to you.
And that's fine. I'm not a fan of Dylan, and in large part because I grew up at a different time and era. But I respect the connection he had with his fans, even though I found it difficult to appreciate his talent.
There was no denying his impact in music. To an albeit lesser degree, many younger people today feel the same way about artists like Prince and Michael.
And for what it's worth... I much prefer Texas Roadhouse over Outback, although I must also add that the last carryout purchase from Texas Roadhouse left much to be desired... nothing worse than fat and gristle disguised as Grade A Sirloin steak!
Then again, if I'm wanting the absolute best steak - I'm not going to a chain.
