Believe it or not, we did understand the message while having a brew, that's why we tolerated his preaching as long as we did, his unique vocal talent is bar-none. At one time there were his songs played every other tune at the pub.

Lots of believers and still. I'm not knocking him down, at all. Good to have artists like him around, just not wrap you in his message every second of the time especially while getting stupid while consuming suds. There are times for crying and sobering, don't like being buried in it.
Has anyone wondered why songs about hardship and struggle sells ? Because we need a shoulder to cry on sometimes.
