sdandrea1 LBlack14 Here we go again. ๐ I suspect that was a shot at a former member of Golfbuzz who was quick to blame POTUS. That's how I got it anyway.
propman sdandrea1 believe me, it wasn't a shot at anyone. Just a sarcastic comment, nothing more. Maybe I should have referenced our buddy, Putin instead.๐
Bravopilot Drove back to VA from New Mexico, didn't see any gas below $3.00. Avg was $3.09, high was $3.46. BTW, people in Nashville drive as if they have never seen snow before, and clearly, they don't have any snow removal service.
fatshot I paid 2.75 again Friday, but that was at Costco. All the prices I see elsewhere around here are $3.10 or thereabouts.
KCee Walterjn I don't think I'd have enough patience to pump gas that long...especially when it's cold out lol.
Walterjn KCee It only took about 25-30 minutes. Heck it was only about 44 gallons.... Nice thing is I can leave the truck running when it's cold, hop out and start the pump then hop back in and stay warm.. Oregon allows those using diesel to pump their own fuel, they consider it a 'fuel oil' not a gas.
KCee Walterjn Yeah that's way too long for me lol! We are no longer allowed to get back in the car while it's fueling here. I usually did if it was single digits temp, but at some places if they see you do that they shut the pump off. It was sub zero with the wind chill a few years ago and this lady ran out screaming at me lol.
Typhoon KCee I'm surprised someone at a Speedway or something actually got off their fat ass to come out and yell at you
Bravopilot KCee They have rules on this? really? Many times on my return trip, I go inside for coffee while the pump runs (I do lock the car).
KCee Typhoon I know right! Scared the cr*p out of me. I thought my car was on fire or something. I knew you couldn't leave the pump to go into the store, but didn't realize you couldn't sit back in your car and keep warm. A lot of places have removed the stops from the handle now so you have no choice but to hold it on or try to wedge your gas cap in there.
sdandrea1 My new Highlander hybrid has 450 miles on it and I've still got over 1/4 tank. MPG on this original fillup is at 40.2 right now. Just running around town is mostly electric. It will be lower on the open road.
Typhoon KCee wedge your gas cap in there. I always used a tennis ball instead of the cap. That way the tennis ball had some โgiveโ to it when it clicked off at full. I had one not click off once using the capโฆ glad I caught it early!
