Yes, that's correct again, in terms of raw numbers - again, the reason I don't care for stats. The final score tells the story. How did that happen? A controlled pass rush that while Jackson got yardage he wasn't able to break a long run for a score, (nor was Henry). But if you "break down" the game you'd have to give kudo's to the Eagles for their Red Zone defense. So many variables but that's typical of Fangio's defensive strategy. I see the Chiefs as having a similar composition-strategy as the Ravens.

The final score of 24-19 doesn't depict "beating the hell" out of Baltimore, either. The sole reason for mentioning those stats was to question that description. To me, it better describes a rout than a mere win, but I get it. You're emotionally attached.

That is correct! And when they go to Baltimore as 3 point underdogs and come away with the win, that is "kicked their ass". LOL Regardless, the red zone defense was excellent.

I've never seen any yet. For any team, any time.
If a call was reviewed and upheld, how can anything but 'good' describe it?
And I do want to see more penalties made reviewable/challengeable. Games will never be the time length of PGA rounds.

'Bad calls' are nothing more than what an opposing/biased/hateful fan calls certain calls. Simple.
I don't see bad calls. Even if they may go to an opponent's advantage. It's a game...Pro football.

My ex. of a bad call is what happened to Kelce this week. Fined for the 'interaction' with an opposing player that was hit with a penalty on field. And that player was fined less than 1/2....almost 1/3 of what Kelce was fined!! WTH??
THAT...was a fucking bad call.....by the NFL!!

Also makes me think the refs are 'in the pocket', because they did not charge Kelce with a penalty on field also. Although it's now obvious he committed one. Cheaters. And the NFL seems to be throwing the refs under the bus with doings like that.

Oh, I see plenty of egregious "missed calls"!
Said it before, I'll say it again, I don't fault the Chiefs. Mahomes, in ways similar to "star power" players in the NBA compared to a rookie; they get more calls. That's reality. But that's on the officials not the Chiefs 'cheating'.
A team, my team, no team should put themselves in the position where 1 big missed or wrong call should affect the outcome.

The penalty against the Commanders was called correct as their player initiated the facemask, after the play. AJ Brown retaliated.

Don't they realize the betting is on the NFL games, not on the refs? What does it say when the company is saying their employees cannot be trusted with their duties? Hell, I'm sure the NFL gets lined pockets every Monday morning from Vegas. Not only biting that hand, they are chewing it off.

I was raised in/worked in a different world. I have never seen anything like this take place.....anywhere I've worked.
But we all know the NFL is poorly run.

You were doing great as I agreed with everything in your post until these last two lines - but with varying reasons. The NFL is an ever-expanding cash cow. Having now become mainstream for women and men... the use of pay to watch, expansion to a first game in now Australia, next season, etc...

I don't know about the viewership come Sunday. While the game might not attract just and only fans of the NFL, it's become quite the "affair" for many. I'm regionally-locally to close to the Philly market to be objective. We'll soon find out. Me, I'll not be disturbed this Sunday evening for anything but a house fire.
