I'm kind of surprised that nowhere did I read anything about his 'horrible' game last week.... 2 for 19 yds.. But(fact) he is so slow that single man stuck to him all day(only 4 throws to him). Only good thing he did was bash that fella at the line for Mahomes' TD.
If the Eagles took note, he'll be just a body on the field. And that's not a good thought for this game.

Except for one detail. The assignment of Kelce will go to the back-up linebacker, Oren Burks.). What concerns me about Mahomes is "death by a thousand paper cuts". Chip, chip, chip - it's actually just a more moderns 'West Coast Offense".
My concern remains the rehab, right now going on with our left guard - Dickerson and center - Jurgens. If they get healthy, they're not practicing. I'm sure the Chiefs are in their own similar boat. Btw, Kelce's still quite an experienced all-pro. Same goes for KC's best wideout.

Just learned today that Fangio will probably be scheming to have rookie Cooper DeJean cover Kelce from his slot corner position. Other than his rookie status, DeJean is much faster than Kelce and if anyone say his tackle on Derrick Henry, he can be quite physical. They might even bracket cover Kelce with safety help and challenge Mahomes to use his wide receivers more.

My Super Bowl pick when the playoffs started was Eagles/Ravens. Looking back, the Ravens' dismal handling of the wintery conditions in Buffalo allowed the Bills to squeak by. The Chiefs caught a break getting to play Buffalo instead of Baltimore. Perhaps the Eagles are fortunate not to be facing them either. 🙂

Eagles beat the hell out of Baltimore. In doing so, due to the number of 'scrambling" QB's they faced, namely Jackson, Love, and Daniels - they've shown excellent discipline in a controlled pass rush.

sdandrea1 cannot remember if I suggested it earlier in this thread after the play stands as called debacles, but was wondering if goal line technology, ala soccer or something similar would ever be implemented in football. It would certainly make it easier on the zebras (less when the runner/receiver is down)...but then again it still might depend on *who is playing🤪

I would assume some sort of emitter beacon or detectable substance at the center location on the ball and perhaps one on each point too. Then a sensor or multiple can easily tell you if the ball progressed at least 10 yards (or 915mm) and where the the ball was in relation to the plane of the goal or out or bounds line. Probably even easier ways than than, but I know it wouldn't be too hard or terribly expensive to do and the refs could get instant feedback without having to look at replays for best guess at ball position. Probably should have been done a long time ago, but its easier to control the outcome if guessing (estimation) is allowed😆

NFL attempted this in the preseason and it didn't go well as far as time. 1/2" isn't good enough.

professor Aside from perhaps Daniels, Lamar Jackson is the most elusive of the scrambling QBs, and they have Derrick Henry. The Eagles do have a great defense, though, and they did beat the Ravens in the regular season. It was hardly a one sided game, as the Ravens outgained them, had more first downs, and led in time of possession.
