I still think Justin Fields has talent. Right situations, coaches, teammates, etc... can bring it out or shut it down.

It's humorous how us arm chair QBs can evaluate a rookie QB who is thrown in the fire immediately. Thrown in with a suspect oline, a defense who has been playing like crap overall, an offensive coordinator who got fired after 9 games and a head coach who has no clue how to manage the last few minutes of a game.

Depending how a respective team sets up responsibilities, OC’s and even QB coaches seem to affect performance more than Head Coaches. It’s not just continuity either. Continuous crappy systems and schemes are a hindrance. I’ve often wondered what Randall Cunningham would have been without arrogant Buddy Ryan not giving a shit about his development?

Yeah, no question. Brady always had defensive minded Belichick as HC, but had decent OC’s in Charlie Weiss, Bill O’Brien and Josh McDaniels. Probably not a good example because we now know it was Brady who made the OC’s look good. lol

He did miss 3/4, so maybe his last chance was gone anyway.

Par4QC Perhaps he has an injury we don’t know about. They obviously thought he was capable from even more distance earlier. In my opinion, unless you learned after the last miss that he’s hurt, you trot him back out again.
