Well of course that's the point to any game. I'd add that some times teams win and others, they didn't create the win, the opponent did what they could to lose. That's exactly the scenario from yesterday. The Lions played down to their opponent and unforced errors by the Bears cost them their chance to win. They lost, the Lions won but, Detroit didn't "beat" them - they beat themselves.

We'll see how that goes when they play Green Bay, Buffalo, and Minnesota. They've dispatched the weaker teams on their schedule. Against decent opponents, they've not blown them out. We'll see.
I'm in a similar boat. We'll see how Philly fares in Baltimore on Sunday.

I don't know that I've been "detracting". Your Lions aren't smoke and mirrors. They're the current front-runner in the NFC. My point was and remains that the Bears screwed the pooch.
