DonM The Bears haven’t had an outstanding QB really ever.
Kinda proves my point, doesn't it? They don't want one. They don't look for that in a QB.
DonM Never had a HOF type wide receiver, at least not in the Super Bowl era.
Really? And why do you think that is? A team has to throw passes to have that person on the roster. The WRs they have had in past years could have possibly been HOF material, IF there was a passing game. But, after a few seasons they are let go, to get money for that next running QB. And, they have wasted possibly their best potential years waiting to have balls thrown to them.
DonM Nobody who they let go away and then had real regrets.
Of course not. They never have regrets for getting rid of players, migawd. Look at the kickers they let go. Look at the defensive people they've let go.
DonM Never had a 4000 passing yards season.
So they’re due.
Never will as long as that old woman is alive. And her offspring.
They are not "due". If that ever happens, it will be the biggest fluke ever in the NFL.
And, If Nagy had not been coaching, Mitch would have been a damn good QB, and still be in Chicago. And I think if you look it up, he was 1 of the best QBs that team ever had. Potential=wasted by Nagy. FYI, JMO 😉
