This again? Really?

I thought the issue with the original complaint was that although all the balls were subjected to the same atmospheric temperature conditions, only the Patriots balls were under inflated. Still waiting for the scientific rationale for that.

Misinformed. Not true. You're not the only one though. Matter of fact you'd most likely be in the majority IMO.

"Here's the other story uncovered in the Wells Report you've NOT been told: 3 of 4 Colts footballs checked at halftime weighed in under 12.5 PSI by one of the two officials measuring them. Then, they suddenly stopped checking. The other 8 Colts footballs simply, and conveniently, went unchecked."

As far as this again? Nothing will come of this (Pittsburg deflategate) because the NFL (now) knows how stupid they looked in the first witch hunt.

Pat's fans can't help but show everyone how incompetent and dumb Goodell and company are though. Much bigger story in New England as you can imagine.

      Here we go again. LOL...

But I will say - I thought of you, Sneak, when I saw this news item a few days ago!

Just when we thought it was safe to have an NFL discussion without deflategate..............

Sneakylong Well, if that's the case, then I withdraw my original complaint, and agree with you that WAY too much has been made of deflated footballs.

      8 days later

All I know is it got down into the 30s at night last week and my mowers tires went low so I could not cut the grass today
Maybe Brady sneaked into my back yard and let the air out?
      You think ?

I don't care about the argument anymore, but I finally had to look it up myself.

I guess the Ideal Gas Law only applied to the 3 out of 4 Colts footballs that were under inflated. IMO you won't see another ridiculous witch hunt into air pressure in footballs again. Time to move on to more serious issues like too much celebration, personalizing shoes or deciding what is or is not a catch etc..

After all we now know that equipment violations take precedent over things like domestic violence, safety for the players (years of covering up concussions) and other life and death issues. Priorities........
