These are the balls I have right now; there have been other brands/models this season that I've either found or purchased.
What is the difference between all of the various models.......not really a damn thing, for my SS/game. I have hit the longest drives on various holes, with all of them. Overall, they go the same distances. I've had scores mainly in the mid/upper 70's, with all of them, and with myriad of different clubs/setups.
"Ball testing" results, imo, is only a good, informative, read, for those that know exactly how far they hit each club....and hit them exactly that far each time. It is a good read for those that can, and know exactly 'how' to, create spin, when needed, and when to use that spin on the greens. "Ball testing" is for Pros, but they also pay no attention as they are under contracts to play certain brands/balls.
"Ball testing"..............is bullshit. ALL covers will cut/scuff. ALL balls will spin. ALL balls will go the same distance. I prove this every round I play; reality......ON COURSE!!
I do not know how they come up with this crap, of the test balls going different distances; sometimes quite a difference. The machine (seemingly) must have very a similar characteristic as a human.....a non-repeatable swing.
I do read/watch 'bullshit' though; humor is good for the soul. It's like watching home remodel shows on HGTV. Funny shit, to think anyone actually believes/buys into it.
