I shoot the same scores with a $45 a dozen ball and a $20 a dozen ball. For my swing speed ~ 90 mph I notice no difference. Except the expensive urethane balls spin more. That also means more side spin as well. Lol
You would think the added spin would help on approach shots. But from my experience it does not. Slower swing players stop the ball on the green thru trajectory more than spin.
Oh and many Florida courses have a lot of water. Losing a $20 a dozen ball is a lot less painful than losing a $45 a dozen ball.
