That 85 mph is not going to hold up anywhere except off the tee, though. Yes, we can hammer those high compression balls with driver(most people don't know that), but for the most 'hits' during a round, on the fw/out of rough, those balls are going to lose you some distances, at a lower swingspeed than driver.
Give a few off the 1 tee shot, to gain several on the fw. iirc, Bridgestone came out with a ball/slogan to such. but that ball was absolutely horrible off the tee, losing more yds. than could be gained on fw.
