I use a propane torch, but not cranked to high like he has it. Plus I use a shaft puller and never twist a shaft I want to keep. If it is a garbage broken shaft, TWIST AWAY!

I can’t help myself, I kept looking up videos using searches like “at home club repair”, “kitchen shaft removal”. Apparently 83% of all club work is done in a kitchen without a vice and the wife is the videographer. Also, somewhere along the line, unbeknownst to us Buzzards, that you are supposed to fill the hosel with epoxy and then place the graphite shaft in it. Uggggh!

Living proof of why many graphite pulls fail when re-used. I can only assume (hope) none of the shaft pulls shown were re-used. To the trash with them.

I may start doing this as a part-time job, 8a.m. -noon. Do a complete set, 4-GW before, then have the afternoon off.
Wonder if I should take a 'break' after 2 hours/4 heads?

btw....I do have the rubber mallet already.

At least he didn't twist it off like the guy in the other video. I personally like to set up a candle under the hozel and let it heat up slowly for 45-60 minutes and then hammer the head off. Works great.😁

Mattyv I'm now thinking about using a brass hammer= faster, just so I can have a longer break time.

If you can heat the clubhead appropriately then just heat the clubhead & hook it in some overhead tree branches, then use your weight to hang on the club & pop the shaft out of the head .... now that's a visual

HAHAHA, I'd give it a go if I could find a tree with branches strong enough to support me but low enough that I won't kill myself when the epoxy lets go & I go free falling ..... kind of like Hans Gruber at the end of "Die Hard"
