"Just 15 seconds with the torch" - 45 seconds later, he still has the torch to the adapter. That smell is no longer epoxy heating, it is the shaft tip melting under the adapter that is a minimum of 400 degrees at this point.

I would love to see his video on how he built his son's driver after he took off the adapter!

Jeez. I haven't used a propane torch in years. A mini butane torch does wonders in a very short time and I still remove adapters with a shaft puller. I put a screw with a flat washer in the adapter and pull it like any other head.

I use a propane torch, but not cranked to high like he has it. Plus I use a shaft puller and never twist a shaft I want to keep. If it is a garbage broken shaft, TWIST AWAY!
