The Match on TNT
What kinda shoes is Brady wearing? Backs are already blown out/ripped.
The golf course is definitely the star of the show. Spectacular scenery, and interesting layout, too.
sdandrea1 After 3 hours for 9 holes of Phil flapping his jaws , I'm done. G'night.
Be sure and check in first thing in the morning. Surely Koepka is going to get a sniper shot at BD somewhere in these few remaining holes.
Huge Phil fan, but besides the Tiger/Phil match I'm not all that interested. Listening to a bunch of rich celebrities go back and forth just like with your buddies, meh.
If anyone ever needs a 4th to complete your group at that course, I'm available LOL!
Bravopilot Ha ha ha!
What's with the brace on Phil's left hand???
Damn Rodgers can putt!

Said he had a little nick....wanted to impress the football guys.

I told my wife I have zero desire to PLAY the course but I'd love to be a 'player assist' volunteer for a day and drive around the course in a golf cart. Stunning views. But, too penal for me. I think it was Rodgers late in the match that bounced his tee ball out of the left rough, it then runs across the fairway and into the right gunch. Just too frustrating. No thanks.
(Montana is one of the states that I haven't played a course in yet.)
mikeintopeka Oh, I would love to play that course.
You have to remember, though, that at those altitudes, the ball flies a lot farther. That, coupled with all the elevation changes, would make club selection really difficult.
rsvman2 - so suppose I'm on a guys trip to Big Sky Resort and I play golf and my friend does not. He takes the money I'd spend on green fees (and a forecaddie?) and spends his time with a dominatrix. At the end of the day, we both are going to experience a lot of pain but he's going to have a happy ending.
Not reading any comments as I'm catching up on it, but so far this is some of the most entertaining golf I've ever seen! More of this!
I just didn't have the patience to watch 3.5 hours of golf crammed into 6 hours of TV. It was fun for the 1st 2 hours.
sdandrea1 Agree, this one was not as good as the others overall. TNT was terrible except for Charles.
Only watched the last six holes. Don't know what the rest of the show was like, but I didn't get any particular joy from the portion that I watched. Mickelson and Barkley seemed like the only people there that were really trying to entertain. IMO the announcing crew needs to be able to draw the players into the dialog and, other than Barkley, no one seemed to be trying to do that. The course was interesting and those greens looked like they were perched in some perilous places. Definitely don't want to over club in that place.
braveheart Phil is perfect in this format. His banter and explanations make it more watchable.
Agree, this thing would be SO boring without him. Just following a single foursome is tough, lots of down time. Everybody had some good lines, but for the most part there would be tons of dead air without Phil. He definitely has a job in the booth if he wants it.

I thought Barkley was useless for the most part. He couldn't find things to say and disappeared for long stretches. He had his moments though.
I think Brian Anderson, "BA", is a good announcer, one of the best IMO. Charles is fun.....but Larry Fitzgerald and the other guy who did the interview after the match was over, offered next to nothing to the broadcast. Trevor Immelman is ok.
