Simple !

We're not after his Deniro .
And we are watching from the sideline.

Short game is on today. A few misses lefts but a couple nice saves from the waste areas.

5 par 5's and no wind, scores could be low. Bubba 6 under thru 6 !!!!

More consistent but a few incredible saves and putts

7 under 65. Pretty solid round. Let's see what the weekend brings. I seem to remember him having some weekend issues his last go round.

Solid round - gotta be good for his confidence, especially the long putt par save on the back nine.

Bubba 1 off course record 63
    Sneds a 64

this course with no wind is looking easy

I don't care how easy this course is, but I can't think of ANYBODY but him shooting a 65 in their first tour event after being off as long as he has, just saying.

If he stays healthy I believe he'll have a decent weekend.
Only if the weather gets tough for the weekend will he have any chance to get in the top 3. Needs outside agent to aid his quest. Other players will not fold because they want him to win.

Impressive turnaround for Tiger after yesterday's back-nine blunder.

After shooting the next to worst round yesterday he shot the third best round today. Too bad he really screwed up his round late yesterday of he could be in the hunt going into tomorrow. By the same token JB Holmes made a double bogey, bogey ,birdie, and then finished with a triple bogey 7 on 18. He also chipped in for birdie then a few holes later he stubbed his chip and it came back down to him. Then he calmly changed clubs and chipped the damn thing in the hole. At one point he was leading at -12 and ended up at -7 one stroke ahead of Woods.

I've thought that for a few years now.
At least he's only got a 1 way miss, so far, instead of his all-over-the damn-course/off-the-course-miss!
    Played fairly good today.

First striking thing you notice is how much leaner he is. Being less jacked up, feet turned out more, more upright are all moves that will hopefully enable him to play injury free golf. He also appears to be less tense, smiling and enjoying himself. It would be good to see him be a contender again.

TW is in #3 on the leaderboard ?

I see the "fire of intensity " in his eyes, which I had no seen even years before he got injured. Great that he got the competitive edge back. No one could push him besides himself.

Matsuyama is -17 and running away with it. In his last four tournaments he has gone first three times with one second place. Tiger continues to play well 32 on the front nine.

Rickie having a day, -6 though 15, to Tigers -3

How about Jimmy Walker, played solo today in under 2 hours and shot 66 !

Tiger deja vu all over again. Thursday 33-40 Saturday 32-38. Had it to -11 and the back nine killed him again. This time it was the driver and the putter. Really good holes and some not so good holes. He double bogies the 18th again. Matsuyama -19 this guy is really HOT!!!
