The two most important comments that came from Tiger in his missed cut exit interview to me were.
1. He said he was disappointed he didn't win the tournament.
2. He said he prepared well but didn't prepare in cool damp conditions which was the difference.

Like an alcoholic , Tiger must admit and accept that he has a problem ( in this case , he's just not who he was and never will be, age wise, physically and mentally) until he does and finds comfort and peace with who he is now, he will continue with his up and down, mostly down battle. If he is able to accept who he is and what his game is now ( like a Furyk or Zach Johnson does) he might start consistently shooting some decent scores. JMHO

letthebigdogshunt Spuzz it's not the arrow it is the Indian. Some have said he hits it well in practice but not on the course in competition as of yet

I realize this is likely the case, along with him trying to be the Tiger of 2000"s as Release suggested.
Being grouped with day and Johnson was not in his favour, imo.

I was reading his press release again and wondering how a guy who hit so many balls with different equipment settled on TM when he sprays it so bad ( aside from the money being paid which may be the only reason he chose TM)
Just a Spuzzervation or two is all.
😉

I was reading a Golf magazine yesterday and here is what Pete Cowen (former Euro player and now swing coach to Stenson) says about Tiger below. He says he has stage fright. That would make sense. His buddies say he's hitting the ball as well as ever at home in Florida. Then he gets on the big stage and can't control the ball.

That's an interesting take, and it may well be true, but it's no more than an educated guess. Everybody hits it better on the range than on the course, right? Is that "stagefright"?

Since Stevie had burn the bridge, TW needs someone like Michael Greller to baby sit him.
Not sure if Jordan Spieth will ever approve of it.

      Release

No one should hold their breath as far as Williams reuniting with Woods. One thing Woody has done "better than most" over the years has been holding longstanding grudges, and Williams didn't just burn that bridge... he stole a page from Eastwood's "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" and dynamited the bridge to smithereens.

As far as Greller's babysitting services... he wouldn't take the pay cut. Greller earns almost as much per year with Spieth as the average tour player earns in total who's hovering around the 120-125 mark on the season money list.

I don't know what kind of arrangement LaCava has with Woods, but it has to be fairly lucrative and based above and beyond a percentage of Woods' earnings, considering Woods is still well outside the top-250 in the OWGR and hasn't made a weekend cut in an official event since the Masters back in 2015.

It's not like Woods has a plethora of caddies lined up at his door wanting the opportunity these days.

Hard to say if Woods could even hold his own on the Senior Circuit now.....

I've discuss him with two of my doctors and based on his medical history, they just shake their heads.
Oh, they are both good golfers....

Opening round 77 in Dubai, sIt's tied 122nd , 12 strokes back of Sergio

We all know golf is a demanding sport if played at the top level, Unless a player is extremely strong, any little thing could have thrown off the chance to have a low round.

T.W. is not quite there yet, for whatever the reason ( only he would know ) he is not all there for the top level competition. He needs a complete physical ( eye sight especially ) and a little talk with Dalai Lama...........

He looked totally lost on the greens......when he finally found them!

          darpar

I honestly think he is just not that good of a natural green reader.
He has memorized the greens of his fav courses (multiple winners) so well which has contributed to his successes and that's good on him.
However, whenever he plays different courses, or courses where the speed is slower or they have been changed (like Torrey last week), he seems to crap out badly.
          Just a Spuzzervation.

Which event will he first make the cut in 17?
