Ugh, take it easy on the ride home....I had planned to go get some groceries but opted out of that, as the conditions were not good. The sleet actually coated over the ice and gave some traction over the walkways so at least that was good!

Steve I would take 50* in the day time and be happy. We have not seen temps that high since late October. Been pretty cold this past three months.

Played nine today and it was 34* when we teed off. It was supposed to be sunny but it was a little foggy and cloudy when the fog went away. It felt chilly and then a breeze came up and it was pretty cold. But at least we got to get out and walk the course. It was pretty mushy in places because of all the snow and rain the last couple of weeks.

Don't know why, near freezing temperature felt colder than below freezing temperature.
It was so cold in the last month, even the sewer line got frozen solid. Utility crews were here all day and all night trying to clear the line. My neighboring street was dug up, heard the pumping all day and all night.

Bracing for impending ice storm later today through tomorrow a.m.. These things are the worst of the worst, when they happen. Nothing like being without power a few days, esp. in Jan.!! Hoping it disappears, or pisses out, before hitting this area.

Can agree with this as we are expecting the same. Just glad that I have lessened the freezer and refrigerator amounts in the last few weeks. The last big ice storm was expensive food wise. 😬

Just had an weather update and thankfully the ice storm will be going South of here. Great for us.

Snow and ice in my yard but temps going up to the 40's this week and a few course 1/2 HR South will be open. Quite unusual for this area

Not sure what to expect with this next weather pattern, but it looks like we will catch the tail end of the freezing rain....located just south of the wintery mix....ice rink on top of the previous ice rink already laid out.

29* right now with SW wind at 12 MPH. Nice day. Our forecast improved dramatically from what it was at this time yesterday. Forecast was calling for freezing rain tonight and early tomorrow AM, then around 4" of snow. It's changed to no freezing rain/ice and only around 1" of snow tonight and about another 1" snow tomorrow. I hope it holds.... hate ice!!!!!!

Got into the mid 30's today. Got outside and nailed up some missing pockets on the fence beside the house.

Nothing else...at Dunks now having coffee then go walk around this big nursery/greenhouses waiting to pick up Nick. Tour is over so we'll go pick him and his gear up around 5 pm.

Be good to have him home.

Freezing rain later this afternoon is the forecast! The next few days look to be well above normal temps which are normally 23* this time of year. Suburbs of the Twin Cities.(Saint Paul/Minneapolis)

Socked in with fog until after noon yesterday finally got out and play nine. The next seven days calls for heavy rain.
