9 inches of snow on the way and very cold. Highs in the teens. Southeastern Wisconsin. Bad winter early here. Merry frig'in Christmas.
The weather where you are?
We have had so much rain that there is a flood watch in our county. The weather man said we had rain now we are going to have ice. Temps in the teens coming up.

we had 30 degrees and freezing rain this morning - neighborhood was a skating rink. Sunny and 56degrees this afternoon. Good grief.
60° and pouring. 20's tomorrow and snow. I hate Ohio.
Was almost 70° yesterday here in Southern Oklahoma. Right now it is mid 20's with freezing drizzle and dropping. There was a 50° temp drop in about 24hrs.

Snow/slush overnight in the Lehigh Valley. Thankfully the ice wasn't an issue like it was in Baltimore... I'm gonna try to provide a link, but if I can't - I'm gonna tell you where you can find it. You need to see what happens when bridges and overpasses freeze and commuters have no idea. You DEFINITELY NEED TO CHECK THIS OUT.
Recorded in the early-morning hours of Dec 17th, 2016...
Anyway... it was manageable here in Northeast, PA. Temps of upper-40's for Sunday, will melt quit a bit of the 2-3 inches of snow/slush.
Golf is pretty much over now until April. Oh well. I am heading to Port St. Lucie in late March on a week-long golf trip, so there's that.
Just gotta keep things in perspective I guess.
PS - only 2 people dead, a dozen or so injured in the Baltimore pileup. Remarkable that more people didn't die.

wow that was horrific......so that semi trailer went in-between the two roadways and plummeted to the ground and ignited? Holy shit!
The guys commentary cracked me up a little.
That's nasty. I don't know these folks stories who were involved, but unless I had to go somewhere in weather like that, I wouldn't. Nothing but trucks on the interstate in weather like that too.
It was obviously no laughing matter... but his commentary didn't exactly fit the mood. I laughed a little too. When he said, "somebody need to call 911" I kinda lost it. And I say that ashamedly so... there was nothing remotely funny about what happened there. I felt bad for laughing, but couldn't help it.
But... it was just interesting to see how dangerous shit gets when bridges and overpasses freeze. I made both my son and daughter watch this with me this evening.
"Wanna know why I worry and tell you to BE SAFE when you're out on the road? Here you go."
They still can't appreciate it. And they probably won't until they have kids who are licensed to drive.
PA-PLAYA yeah I felt bad too, but watcha gonna do....the worst accident in memory was on i43 just south of the city and the fog was brutal and cars were piling up one after another....they had no idea what was ahead.....what an awful feeling for those who ran into someone and then laying in wait for the next car....ugh!
Today they had the police out with a barricade closing off one road that as a fairly steep pitch to it, had to turn around. Get to the next route and there was an officer onone of the main roads going right through the middle of the city where there is a bridge that is quite steep, passes the hispital....officer was parked at the bottom of the hill in the NB left lane with his lightsg on....I have never seen either of those two things in the 18 yrs I've been here. It was slick and the PD was taking precautions to keep people safe and slow down traffic in the dangerous areas.
Snowed yesterday...really sucked since they plowed nothing until 11 am. Cars couldn't even get up small inclines on major roads.
Today it's 50 degrees....where the fuck are my short pants?

Had to go to the airport to pick up one of my kids coming home for the Winter break.
Out of the driveway and the dummy alert in the car kept flashing "ICY" and 26°F, now, maybe this is not a big deal for some of you living in a much colder Winter climate than we do. The Pacific Northwest seldom see temperatures in the 20's but a few days a calendar year. This Arctic Blast had brought very cold temperatures, luckily not much moisture came with it so we're not stuck in a Winter storm like a few times we had had in the last few decades.
Backing up to in the low 40's next week.
These idiots on the roadway did not understand when weather gets below 30° F the road surface actually will be frozen and the tires on their vehicle will not react the same even with special compound made for colder temperature. They still zoom by 10-20 MPH over the posted speed limit, like they were late for their own funeral.
Sign, their family should have talked to them, a mere minute or less than that gained is not worth a human life.

Funny guy! Yeas, Friday we saw wind chills at -30 degrees, and I had to work outside because all these pricks at work get a friggin hangnail and they're out for a month. Pussies.
So...
Friday -30, Typhoon in 90 layers
Saturday 6" of snow Typhoon in parka
Sunday 50 degrees. Typhoon in shorts
Monday 25 degrees, Typhoon in 4 layers
I'm not exactly an ad for the Massachusetts Board of Tourism am I?!
Bill, my brother lives in Georgia, same type of thing with people being clueless to when the roads get slippery. They drive like they just stole the car all the time.

Shit, the smokies do that down there too! I swear when I was driving a semi through there, Buford T. Pusser passed me. On the damn shoulder, lights rollin'! Other lane was clear.
I was stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia for 4 years back from '87 to '91.
One winter morning we had a light dusting, almost unmeasurable, the only snow I can remember during my entire time there... they closed the entire post down, and the snow wasn't even sticking on the roads, it was melting upon impact. LOL
Rain and wet snow mixed this morning at 35° F for the most part. Warmer weather is coming back and the price line in the GolfNow reflects the forecast, going higher for the rest of the week. I'd bet still will have more than half of the tee sheets empty.....
