Rahm's getting rammed.
Rahm takes it hard

Toulon is sitting home, bouncing on the edge of his seat saying....."Was he vaccinated, was he vaccinated, was he vaccinated.....?"
Feel sorry for the caddy, not Rahm. Over $200K payday, if they kept the pace.

I am guessing he never did any vaccinations? If so, tough shit big guy.
Rickochet True and all, BUT, the Yankees proved you can have breakthrough infections. The good news for those vaccinated is that if they do test positive, they are 100% likely to survive!
Rickochet It doesn't, I have no idea if he is vaccinated or not. Just saying you can still get it after the shot/shots.
According to the PGA protocols, Rahm should have been tested again after today's round, as he has been required to do. Wondering if the positive nullified that? I would think Rahm would demand a test immediately, with over $2M on the line.
I'll bet his agent, his "people", are working OT tonight.

I say send him off last all by himself! He may melt just from waiting on the twosome in front of him all day!
Oh, and no caddie, he has to lug around his own clubs!
LBlack14 I think it would be awesome to see a pro carrying a stand bag all day!
Dude made a hole-in-one in the AM and then shoots 30 on the back nine and then........
Someone will make a lot of extra money with a hollow victory today.
If that’s the case then he’s an idiot. No excuse for not being vaccinated before last week. Expensive lesson.

It seems he rolled the dice and lost.
He was subject to the PGA testing protocols because he had come in close contact with a person who was COVID-19 positive. But, those same PGA rules also state that players who are fully vaccinated -14 days past the full vaccination cycle - are not subject to testing as a result of close contact.
So, while an unfortunate (and costly) situation for Rahm, and marks the Tournament winner with a big ole asterisk(*), it appears it could have been avoided. While whether or not to get the vaccine is an individual's choice ... I've never had a personal choice cost me nearly 1.7 million (not to mention the other perks: 550 FedEx Cup points, the 68 Official World Golf Ranking points, a three-plus season exemption on the PGA Tour, as well berths into the 2021 Masters and 2021 PGA Championship, as well next year's Sentry Tournament of Champions.) Jon's probably pretty well off already - but I think I might have had trouble sleeping last night.
I saw the thread title and didn't know what to think.
Stu1961 I'm 26 making millions, no threat in life, I'd be bulletproof too--was myself when 26 and a Capt flying for a living. He knew the risk by still playing, two negative tests, I'd think no way and press on. Lesson learned. Seemed to have a better response hrs later. Notification just off the green on live TV was bad form by all. No practice rounds for the US Open, but should be able to play.
Now, will he get any picks in the soon-to-be @Eguller US Open GB contest?????
