Ok. I just got to work after the driving range. Currently done with everything I needed to do this morning here, so now I can hang out and tap this out.
My morning trip to the range, about 50° and I had a solid 10 mph head wind to hit into.
I took the Palmer 8°, Cally knockoff 11°, and the Srixon 10.5°. I started with the Palmer, more as a warm up and get back to swinging as I have don't that since sometime last week. Dead cold with that Palmer I was hitting a solid 150, and was able to get a few out to 200 After about 12-18 balls I switched to the Cally knockoff and that one was a little bit further by about 10-15 yards, when I got good contact.
After that I pulled the Srixon out, and well the head it stayed on!!
I gotta say I love this club! With the same power put into the other 2 I was hitting a minimum of 175-200. Ball flight was beautiful nice arching flight to about 100-150'. The 175 was with bad hits, hit too much on the toe or too much on the heel. The worst I did was top the ball on the heel and sent it to my left over the fence.
Most of the hits were nicely centered on the face top to bottom. A few on the toe and a few on the heel.
The shaft is amazing, the hits on the toe, were obvious, yet not obnoxious to my hands, the heel strikes were the same. Honestly, anything in the center of the face I don't remember any feeling, maybe a slight sensation. The ball was just gone and the only real thing that told me I hit it was the sound. I'm not sure how to describe the sound best. It is not a ping, thwack, or crack. It makes me think that I just hit the bottom of a galvanized bucket with something. It's loud, just not obnoxious to my ears.
I do apologise for the length of this, thank you for reading this overly long winded, rambling post with almost no pics.
