Gray beard takes the lead, and Im on fire!

Watching Sergio putt was cringe worthy. Missed a 1 footer. Putts with his eyes closed. If only he could putt. But the same could be said for many great ball strikers who struggled on the greens. Putting is the great equalizer.

Sneakylong I played my sim round yesterday, was talking to one of the workers prior to my Rd., who happens to be from Scotland and was talking up the Euro flavor on the leaderboard, he asks if I saw Sergio's 2nd in to the par 5...knocking it to tap in range. I said no and asked if he made the putt. He looks at me cross and says it was a tap in. I replied it's Sergio. I play my round and finish my pint at the bar and we get to talking again. He wants to show me a pic on his phone of their new GPS system for the carts, which are a 12" touch screen
! He's paging through, showing me all the pics from a golf show he was at, mostly cool golf cars, the two wheel electric bike carts, single golf carts, lots of done up carts, etc. Then he shows me the touch screen and Sergio misses that putt and I point and said, see and he's not in yet
. He grumbled saying somethin in his accent I could not understand
. Anyways those touch screen gps sound amazing......you can draw a line on the screen from your cart/ball to anywhere on the hole to get a distance to a point! I would love something like that, handheld, that could go on my push cart!
I went with Im at +1200. Threw a fiver onBD at +500 as a backup. Going for 4 in a row.

Shame. Nicklaus once said of Tony Lema - " he as a million dollar swing, and a ten cent putter "
JT in the pinestraw talking with pops about a shot options and says something like it will come out with "topspin". Do these guys really think the ball comes off the club with topspin? Even on a chip shot
JT is having himself a day.
Westwood pissing away another one...
Bravopilot Westwood is just co-leading
Should be ahead by 3 minimum.
Ball striking clinic and then how not to make birdies clinic.
Looks like Lawn Chair Lee and Bryson DeChambozo have another date with destiny in the final pairing tomorrow.
Bryson continues to roll the rock quite competently... Westwood rolled the ball like it was a square today, otherwise he'd be leading by a very comfortable margin.
Thomas lurking close behind, great position to be after a phenomenal 3rd round. Might be a very entertaining couple of hours tomorrow afternoon.
JT could sneak in tomorrow, while the same 2 guys from last week battle it out!
It would be awesome to see the Greybeard win it.

I'd like the team of Westwood - Storey to win it (unless Bryson has one less stroke).
Since he's been into Helen and Helen has been on his bag, he's rejuvenated his career over the last few years.
It would be a great story if Lee can get it done tomorrow. In the post round he said that he very much enjoyed playing with Bryson and got along well with both him and his caddie, so itโs a comfortable pairing. Bryson echoed similar thoughts afterward as well.
A heralded world-class player with only 2 career wins on the US tour tells a familiar story about a balky putter on Sundays.
Head to head, this really shouldnโt be much of a match. But if Lee can dial in his iron play tomorrow, he'll have an opportunity to put some pressure on Bryson, since he will be hitting his approach shots first most of the round.
I think it wise to not overlook a few other guys, the undercard could end up being the main event late Sunday afternoon. Lots of momentum swings at this place as history has shown.
