sdandrea1 A real "good buddy"??
Took the Kirkland wedges out today for the 1st time. Just doing a little on-course practice and found a nice 7-hole opening on the back 9 of one of our tracks. These are on loan to me from @Bravopilot. I played the 52 & 56 today.
I played them in stock steel shafts so they felt like anvils to me. I figured my best eval would come from 75 yards in where I could use a lazy-75%-chip-shot swing. I did take a full swipe with the 52 from 80 yards out and was happy with the result. To me wedges are wedges and are really only set apart by their sole design and playability off of tight Bermuda lies. Any wedge works for me out of fluff or soft lies. These Kirkland's surprised me. They look like pro-style wedges, but there's enough bounce there to function well off of these pool-table fairways I play on. See pic. It's not Cleveland-CBX-friendly bounce, but there is a nice taper to the sole.....it works. I chipped around the greens and really like the 56 for sand and short approach chips when you have to carry the ball over something (I roll the ball whenever I can if I'm around the green). They feel good, look good, spin good. I'd game them in graphite any day! The last pic is the result of 3 shots I made from 3 different lies from about 50 yards away with the 56.
sdandrea1 Which graphite shaft would you install?
Bravopilot DUH! FGS!
What Jack said.

Snuck out for a 6-hole play today. Took the KIRKLAND wedges out again, still in stock form. Still very impressed with the 52 & 56! These are excellent wedges. @Bravopilot has shipped me graphite shafts and new grips for more experimenting. Next week, maybe.
sdandrea1 Sorry but now realized I forgot the ferrules

Eguller Shafts are White, black/blue (I think) and Red.
Red, White and Blue theme.
Eguller Sadly, not on purpose, wanted to try 3 different graphite shafts that were cheap (Diamond)
