I put the Alta CB R flex PING shaft back in the G400 SFT head for today's round. Other than feel, I cannot tell a difference in performance.

    azgreg I'm putting them in a TM R580 driver, TM V-Steel 5w, and a Nickent 3DX 4h.

Please share your reviews. You going to have to shim the TM driver and 5W? I think those are .350

      sdandrea1 No clue, no guess.

2 things I've found in using them....
Driver shafts- color makes a diff..... yes, believe it or not. White or Neon are the best 2. The best was the black/silver which they no longer carry, for some strange reason. I say this about the colors even though the stated weights are very accurate in the 67-68g. range; never had any outside that. Maybe a rare 69g. 1 time.

Iron shafts did not perform (for me) as I wanted. Seem to be too stiff (tip) per flex, even at A. Never dropped to L, so no clue how that plays.

Great shafts though, after all these years, and still basically the same $10. Gotta like the weight though, to want them.😉

I put a white FGS that I got from Par4QC into an Adams 9088UL driver head I got from sdandrea1 and it’s a great combo. Those FGS driver shafts are an incredible bargain. Very stable.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are no longer being made and once they run out, that's it.

Typhoon Seems like the perfect review for a $10 golf shaft.

That a lot of times beats hell out of a $300 shaft!! 👍
Never speak ill of things never tried.

garyt1957 can we really swing a shaft that's a mere 10 grams lighter any faster to really make a difference?

A lot of info on the internet says yes. So, I guess we have to believe it, even if individual usage says differently.

In my case, probably not. When I get down to 36 - 43 gram wood shafts, I start spraying it.

Jelopster any inside baseball knowledge on who makes these FGS’s?

No inside knowledge, but if I had to guess, I would say Integra makes them.
They are Spuzz Approved shafts, regardless of brand, and none have exploded on me, in spite of that brand name.
        LOL

          Spuzz
Well then. The supreme Dillhole has spoken. FGS+ rules!!!😂😂😂

On another note, I will be tackling my new Maltby STi2 build staring next week or so when I get my shims from Golfworks.

sdandrea1 I like to just plug a cork into the hosel, with epoxy, the night before a build like that. Then just drill to size.
Smooth feel for achy elbows/wrists also.
