Initial impression on the ACER XDS REACT hybrid irons. Only got 6 holes in, but will be gaming them tomorrow for 18 in a team event.

Sound and feel is solid. Better than the Integra i-drive version. These have MCS 70 graphite, trimmed to A.
Leading edge is out in front of the hosel. Takes a little getting used to.
Stupid easy to point and shoot high straight shots. This genre of club can just be thumped into the ground behind the ball and if you bottom out at the right spot, a great shot results.
Twin rail sole is Cobra-like. I can't tell if it acts any different than a smooth soled I-drive version.
I hit the 45 degrees PW about 90-95 yds, the 50 degree AW about 75-80. 41 degree 9i went about 110.
Standard Hireko- recommended length is 8i 37.5", 9i 37", PW 36.5", AW 36.5". I built them to that spec, did not measure swingweight (because I don't care) and they feel just right.
Chipped a few shots with the A wedge with nice results.

The only thing keeping these from being in more better player's bags is looks, ego and brand/shape snobbery. They really are like cheating.

I have had a full set of those since they came out quite a few years ago. Another solid product from Hireko with nice fit and finish. The onset face take a bit of getting used to. I have them in and out of my bag over the years and always hung on to them for "when" I get old (😜). They are very solid and have a hot face. I had a bit of an issue chipping with something like a 7 iron. The ball would jump off of the face and I had some distance control issues. One issue is the heads will chip from bag chatter over time if you don't use head covers. The ones I tried kept falling off so I tied them together and they always got tangled. Ones that fit better would be a better selection. These are a very unique. I also have a full set of the iDrive hybrids and like them also. I wouldn't say that one is better than the other, just a bit different. I didn't get to play any last summer but hope to try next spring if my left arm allows. I plan to try with either the Reacts or the iDrives with either the MCS 70 or FST 115/90.

I'd say they are about the same distance but a slightly higher trajectory with less roll out in landing. I carded a 73 today in a team competitive round. My handicap is plummetting since I switched to the Freddy Mercury girls. Too easy and confidence inspiring. Had an eagle and 2 birdies today.

I prefer the visual shape of these over the Tour Edge stuff. I don't really like an "iron-shaped" face with a bulbous back on it. These look like hybrids all the way through the set. Which are "better" is a decision for each player.

As I was walking out of one today some f’ed up kid/guy comes up to me to ask for money for a cab. I said no. Then he asks if I’ll drive him to his brothers house ( guy looks like like he lives in the gutter… sweatpants, pissed himself because they were wet, shit all over his face. And it was NOT the store manager.) I said no, I have cloth seats in my car and you pissed yourself. And I kept walking. I was with my new boss of one day🙄…. The guy asked him to call him an UBER.🙄

Typhoon 😄Joke may be on you. There are several guys on TikTok that are going around to WalMarts and asking for such things. When someone actually helps them, or offers to, they pull out a wad of 100s and give to them.
