sdandrea1 Par4QC Where's the review for these irons, Nancy? They are basically G30 heads with an ultralight shaft. Hers are green dot and she likes midsize grips (don't go there), so they fit me pretty good, other than being 1/2" short. I did hit a full Wedge 100 yards, twice today, so that's about right for me, distance-wise. Like hitting G30s with a light shaft. Not too shovels. Decent top line and not overly offset. Some relief is very nice in this turf.

sdandrea1 The Caimans were fine, but just meh. I didn't really care for the feel, even in graphite. Flight was not PING-high, but high enough. YMMV. Probably not a great head for slower swing speeds. I really did like chipping with the 9i and wedge. No problem hitting the center. It was probably the shaft, but NONE of my solidly struck shots really felt very good. It's a blade.

Typhoon I know you guys are always looking for a longer ball and a bargain ball. Last night at indoor golf I was hitting pro v1 with my driver trying different shafts and noticed a Pinnacle Rush in the pile. I hit some with that and picked up an average of 3 mph ball speed.
colej Typhoon I really like the TaylorMade TP5X and it’s a great deal if you buy the "practice " version ball.
Typhoon sdandrea1 Funny thing is I have to look at the Quad numbers because I had a 5 ball average with the Rush and with the prov1. I picked up that much ball speed but not much yardage. I thought there would be a bigger gain. In any case tomorrow night I’ll try to get on it again and hit a 7 iron and some 60 degree wedge shots, pitches to compare the balls.
